OHCHR is the principal human rights official of the United Nations Development Group with its headquarters in Geneva. OHCHR aims to increase the awareness of people about human rights, supports them to take action against inequality and offers leadership to countries where inequality is present. The priorities of OHCHR are set out in two key strategic documents. The OHCHR Plan of Action & Strategic Management Plan of 2012 - 2013. These priorities are to oppose human rights violations worldwide, to create a medium for everyone in the world to speak, to fight against gender inequality and to implement international human rights to undeveloped and developing regions of the world.
The OHCHR Committee’s primary objective in this conference will be to oppose inequality and human rights violations, which is the greatest problem against regional development in East Europe and the Common Wealth of Independent States.
